I'm Back & Giving This Another Go!

Hi Everyone! I'm back!

I thought I would post a comeback blog to say that I am officially back, and this time I am going to give this blog a good honest go.

The reason why I stopped blogging shortly after I started is because I went back to school, and then we packed up and moved back to my hometown.

In the meantime, I have been trying new things, finding out what I really like to do, and figuring out which things I would like to explore more.

I have still been posting quite regularly about what I am making on my instagram and then I share those pictures to my facebook page and twitter account.

I also occasionally still add products to my Etsy Shop, but my stock is pretty low right now, so I'm hoping to change that as well.

I'm always making something.

I love trying out all the patterns that are available on the internet.

I am still obsessed with crochet (see this blog post), but more specifically I am obsessed with making amigurumi.

Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures...like these cute little sea creatures I made this past summer. Link to free pattern here.

I see all the cute little things I can make and I seriously want to make them all!

Don't get me started on the yarn! 💞💞💞

I'd love to show you some of the things I've been making lately, and I'm going to do that by showing you the holiday themed items I've been making in my next blog post following this one.

It's been a struggle getting good light for pictures, so it looks like I'm going to have to resort to using artificial light just so I can get this next blog post up.

Oh well. It will have to do. ☺

I will also follow up with some more holiday themed craft blogs leading up to the holiday break.

I'm looking forward to it!

What else is new?

I have been exploring video editing and I find that I quite enjoy doing it. It can be time consuming, but I get lost in it because it is something I truly enjoy, and a skill I would like to work at improving.

I will be making more crafting tutorial videos for my youtube channel, and I will continue to do live streams on twitch creative.

I am hoping to set up a schedule where I will live stream on twitch creative on a set day of the week at a set time, and then I may stop in for impromptu streams at random times.

Tentatively, I'm thinking that Tuesday will be Twitch day, but I will let you know for sure, and as always before I stream I will post it on my twitter account and facebook page.

I'd like to do more "watch me make" videos, that are basically videos of me making something, sped up and set to music, like this video.

Those are fun to make.

I'd like to make some basic weekly tutorial videos for the crafts that I like to do, which includes needle felting, sewing, crocheting, and bag making.

I'd like to make a series of videos and/or blog posts where I try out different crafts that I have never done before, but have found on Pinterest and have saved to try someday.

I promise to post a lot of pictures, links to the patterns I use or where you can get them, and links to the materials I used.

My blog posts and video descriptions will contain affiliate links for Amazon and Ebay.
